Panela and Chorizo Rolls
Ingredients
- ½ package (5 oz.) Cacique® Longaniza Fresca, cooked
- ½ package (5 oz.) Cacique® Panela, cut in thick strips
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent-style rolls
Preparation Method
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Unroll dough. Place one cheese strip and 2 tablespoons of cooked Longaniza on each triangle. Roll dough, following package instructions, except make sure you tuck the corners in (this keeps cheese from oozing out). Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven, cool slightly and serve warm. These rolls travel well, which make them ideal for picnics and BBQs.
